What we found

Rate agreements and service levels were scattered. Much of the knowledge was held in people's minds. The process worked, but it took time and resulted in varying quality.

Our approach

We established the rules together: what carries more weight, how to handle exceptions, and when deviations are permitted. We then built a selection tool that compares options for each shipment: price, lead time, and reliability. The tool calculates the best option and explains why. Deviations are always possible, with a brief explanation in the log.
